Job Description
micro1 wants people with native British English speech to help evaluate audio for AI training. The job is a remote contract role. The reviewer draws on understanding of British sounds, regional accents, natural delivery and recording quality to judge recordings and explain the results.
Day to day, the reviewer listens to short British English recordings and decides whether the speech would pass as native British English. They judge pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone and speech rhythm, point out anything off, uneven or wrong in the speech, and write structured feedback that follows the project guidelines.
Strong applicants have native-level British English, a clear grasp of British pronunciation and accents, and B2 English or better. They also need excellent listening and analytical skills, close attention to detail and clear written feedback. The role suits someone comfortable working independently who can pass the screening assessment first. Experience in voice-over, speech coaching, sound engineering or similar work is an advantage, as is a background in linguistics, phonetics, teaching, media or communications.
