Job Description
Mercury is seeking a Business Continuity Management Lead to establish and direct a comprehensive enterprise continuity program as the organization prepares to transition into a bank. - Collaborate with vendor management teams to evaluate critical supplier recovery capabilities and potential concentration risks.
- Integrate continuity principles into upcoming product rollouts, operational modifications, and technical deployments.
- Generate metrics and reports to give executive committees insight into operational readiness and remediation progress.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing team of business continuity analysts over the next year.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional background in operational resilience, business continuity management, disaster recovery, or a related field within a regulated sector, financial institution, fintech, or technology firm.

- Expertise in conducting business impact analyses, mapping dependencies, identifying critical services, and establishing recovery objectives.
- Technical familiarity sufficient to collaborate with engineering teams on system dependencies, cloud services, data recovery, and technology disaster recovery.
- Practical understanding of third-party risk management principles, vendor recovery assessments, and concentration risk.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with banking supervisory expectations regarding operational resilience and business continuity.
- Previous experience working within a company-building or bank-building corporate setting.
