PENN Interactive is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for a full-time, remote position with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 115,000 per year. PENN Entertainment operates across North America as a provider of integrated entertainment, sports content, and casino gaming experiences, featuring platforms such as Hollywood Casino, theScore Bet Sportsbook, and the theScore media app.
In this role, the incumbent will examine and distribute centralized data sources to improve the reliability and scope of the enterprise data warehouse. Responsibilities include translating transactional records into key performance indicators for business units like marketing, gaming, hotel, food and beverage, finance, and human resources. This position suits professionals with a background in data modeling who can educate property analyst teams, oversee data-related inquiries, support advanced analytics needs, and maintain data quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Provide data direction and education to property analyst teams
- Act as gatekeeper for data inquiries to ensure accurate delivery and usage
- Facilitate data for advanced analytics and modeling requirements
- Maintain and escalate data quality practices including local oversight and risk mitigation
- Identify, collaborate on, and present key data relationships and KPIs to business leaders
- Monitor data performance and SLA thresholds to guarantee end-user adoption
- Collaborate with stakeholders on new data requirements and definitions
- Present data findings using multiple qualitative communication platforms
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling or analytics
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, Tableau, and relational databases

- Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders across project lifecycles
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical management
