The person in this role will partner closely with go-to-market strategy, revenue operations, marketing, customer success, product, and technology teams. Responsibilities include facilitating working sessions, mapping current and future processes, writing system requirements, and staying hands-on through delivery and adoption. The ideal candidate has strong prioritization judgment, excellent cross-functional facilitation abilities, and experience working credibly across multiple stakeholder communities without relying on direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously maintain detailed capability decompositions across Idea to Launch, Campaign to Lead, Plan to Goal, Lead to Opportunity, and Quote to Subscription.
- Facilitate structured working sessions with stakeholders across go-to-market, revenue operations, marketing, customer success, and product.
- Translate future-state process designs into technical system requirements and partner with product owners and engineering leads through delivery.
- Support parallel delivery tracks encompassing current production systems and next-generation platform builds.
- Manage change initiatives, user enablement, readiness planning, training materials, and post-launch process adoption verification.
- Maintain documented agreements at shared boundaries with peer business process leads to manage cross-stream handoffs.
- Own capability designs and process governance for pricing, packaging, deal desk, discount approvals, margin guidelines, and CPQ.
- Oversee capability design for new product introductions, SKU governance, and the commercial customer lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bring over seven years of professional background in business process design, business architecture, revenue operations, or sales operations.
- Demonstrate hands-on ownership of commercial process design within a go-to-market organization, such as quote-to-order, deal governance, or renewal motions.
- Possess experience breaking down business capabilities into detailed, multi-level structures or mapping complex value streams.
- Exhibit strong facilitation capabilities when collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Show proven ability to translate business process requirements into actionable system requirements for technical delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with pricing, packaging, discount governance, or CPQ process design within a subscription or SaaS business model.
- Background in deal desk operations, sales operations, or managing exception and approval workflows.
- Experience dealing with renewal operations, customer success workflows, or identifying at-risk accounts early.
- Prior exposure to new product introductions, SKU and bundle governance, contract lifecycle management tooling, or legal operations.
- Experience operating within partner or channel programs, including marketing development funds and territory planning.
- Knowledge of structured change management methodologies such as ADKAR or Prosci, alongside prioritization frameworks like WSJF or RICE.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketo, and lead routing or enrichment tooling.
