Deliveroo, which is now a part of DoorDash, seeks a Business Systems Analyst to focus on Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management within its People Technology group. Based in London, this position operates on a full-time, hybrid schedule and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Workforce Management. The person in this role acts as the primary subject-matter expert for Workday configuration, ensuring reliable and scalable experiences for personnel, managers, HR departments, and payroll groups across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management configuration based on business needs, regulatory shifts, and corporate changes
  • Develop functional design specifications, maintain configuration workbooks, and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to validate data feeds for payroll calculations and support scheduling or workforce tool integrations
  • Handle tier-one production support by investigating calculation errors, missing punches, approval routing problems, and accrual discrepancies
  • Analyze support ticket trends to identify root causes and implement proactive system enhancements or configuration updates
  • Create and update user documentation, training materials, and job aids while maintaining clear service levels for ticket resolution

Requirements

  • At least three years of direct, hands-on configuration experience with Workday Time Tracking or Absence Management
  • Solid familiarity with Workday business processes, calculated fields, and security groups connected to time and absence modules
  • Demonstrated background in gathering business requirements, creating functional documentation, and transforming them into functional system setups
  • Proven capability in planning and running test scripts, managing user acceptance testing, and performing regression testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing integration failures, process log issues, and configuration bugs
  • Practical experience using ticket-management software such as Jira while balancing project delivery alongside daily support duties
  • Clear communication abilities suited for both technical and non-technical professional audiences

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Workday Time Tracking or Absence Management certification
  • Prior background working with Core HCM
  • Familiarity with Legion, Calabrio, or Deputy platforms
  • Experience integrating time-clock devices or collaborating with third-party absence providers
  • Exposure to multi-country configuration environments
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methods
