Job Description
IO Tech Solutions Limited is hiring a full-time C# Engineer who works from home. The engineer supports the technology behind a crypto market-making business, where speed, reliability and scalability translate directly into trading advantage. The role involves building real-time, high-performance applications together with traders and quantitative analysts.
Day-to-day work includes building scalable C#.NET systems for live trading, order handling and risk analysis, applying low-latency techniques to improve responsiveness, and connecting to crypto exchanges, market APIs and data feeds. The engineer also builds monitoring tools that track market activity, trading system health and risk figures, writes maintainable code, takes part in peer reviews, and works through production incidents to keep disruptions short.
Applicants should have at least three years of C#.NET development, ideally in trading or financial technology. Strong async programming, threading and low-latency skills are expected, along with experience with FIX and WebSocket messaging. Knowledge of real-time data handling and performance tuning matters, as does familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL and NoSQL stores such as Redis or MongoDB.
Exposure to crypto markets, trading platforms or blockchain work is highly valued though not mandatory. Problem-solving skill, meticulous attention to detail under pressure, and clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues are essential.
