This senior leadership post for Swiggy is based in Hyderabad and oversees the company's operations and growth across the region. The city head sets direction to hit organizational aims and revenue goals for Hyderabad and holds complete profit and loss accountability.
Duties include guiding, mentoring and overseeing a varied workforce, controlling the budget and financial plan, spotting market openings and studying rivals, and pursuing business development to widen market share. The role also maintains ties with major stakeholders, customers, partners and public bodies, keeps operations within company policy and legal requirements, monitors results and takes corrective steps, and works with cross-functional and regional counterparts. The holder represents the company at community and industry gatherings and drives change and process improvement.
The ideal candidate has eight to twelve years of steadily advancing corporate leadership, including at least five years running a city or regional operation with P&L ownership. Sound financial judgment, a record of revenue expansion, negotiation skill and the ability to sway stakeholders at every level are required. Familiarity with the Hyderabad market and its rules, change management experience and data analytics skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft and carry out strategic plans that serve Hyderabad revenue and company objectives
- Guide, coach and manage a varied team
- Own budgets, financial planning and the P&L
- Identify market openings and drive business development
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners and public agencies
- Keep operations compliant with policy and regulation
- Track performance indicators and take corrective action
- Lead organizational change and process upgrades
Requirements

- Record of designing and executing successful business strategies
- Strong financial acumen and budget control
