Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one telehealth or onsite consultations providing general guidance, coaching, counseling, or therapy-style support
  • Deliver Critical Incident Stress Programme services virtually or in person as required
  • Facilitate educational webinars and in-person seminars
  • Assist workers with resilience, stress, and overall wellbeing
  • Partner with the internal clinical team to enhance EAP offerings

Requirements

  • Master of Counselling or Counselling Psychology degree for counselor applicants
  • Current active registration or membership with the Australian Counselling Association or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia
  • One to three years of supervised counselling practice
  • Master of Clinical Psychology degree from an APAC-accredited program for clinical psychologist applicants
  • General registration through the Psychology Board of Australia
  • One to three years of supervised clinical experience

Qualifications

  • Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or active progression through the Registrar Program
  • Background supporting First Nations or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Previous experience in managerial support, HR advisory, or leadership coaching
  • Prior background in workplace counseling or employee assistance programs
  • Proficiency in additional languages
  • Availability for occasional onsite appointments
  • Willingness to complete a Police Check or Working With Children Check if requested
  • Eligibility or willingness to acquire a Medicare provider number
