The Cluster Head role for last-mile operations in Telangana sits within the Fulfilment and Experience (F&E) group at Meesho, a team of more than 100 professionals working across operations, supply chain, analytics and first-principles problem-solving. The team is rethinking e-commerce logistics in India from the ground up. The position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The cluster head is accountable for bringing partners up to speed for last-mile work in the area. The role includes finding and signing up new partners on an ongoing basis, tracking how each partner performs, and visiting partner facilities in different cities to carry out audits and close operational gaps.
The job also covers compliance with operating processes and ownership of key operational metrics through to their performance targets. The cluster head works with stakeholders across the business to reach team goals, and recommends process improvements whenever gaps are identified.
The role suits a graduate or postgraduate in any discipline with three to five years in e-commerce logistics, particularly in partner onboarding and training for last-mile and sorting operations.
Responsibilities
- Run partner onboarding and training for last-mile operations across the cluster.
- Find and bring on new partners continuously as the network grows.
- Track and manage the performance of partners across the cluster.
- Visit partner facilities to conduct audits and resolve operational gaps.
- Ensure compliance with operational processes.
- Take ownership of the key operating numbers from start to finish and hit targets.
