This role supports Community Moderators by maintaining an engaging, positive, and safe digital environment for scholarship participants. Responsibilities
- Monitor the online forum daily, including weekends, at least twice a day
- Deliver non-technical support to students within the digital community
- Maintain the online platform by managing guideline violations and inappropriate posts
- Contribute ideas and collaborate with the Community Manager to boost member engagement
- Assist with performance summaries when asked by the Community Manager
- Participate in scheduled virtual meetings with representatives from Udacity
- Maintain active responsiveness during group discussions with representatives
Requirements
- Reside in the UAE
- Possess a strong internet connection for fully online daily duties
- Demonstrate strong multitasking and organizational capabilities with a proactive mindset
- Understand online community platform moderation tools including forums and commenting features
- Know customer service principles and Udacity services, target audience, and community culture
- Communicate information effectively and complete reporting tasks as required
- Available to work across days, evenings, and weekends
