Twilio is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to direct the creation and implementation of compensation frameworks for its Marketing and Go-to-Market divisions. Operating in a remote-first environment, this position involves acting as an advisor to senior leadership and human resources partners, translating enterprise goals into competitive pay structures, and managing broad-based and sales incentive programs end to end.
This role is well-suited for a data-driven professional with extensive expertise in market trends, job architecture, equity compensation, and sales remuneration within rapid-growth technology settings. The successful candidate will guide stakeholders through promotional and annual review cycles, design dynamic compensation models, and ensure compliance while minimizing organizational risk. Occasional travel of about 10 percent is required for team meetups, customer meetings, or functional off-sites, and staff may be asked to report in person on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an advisor to senior business leaders and HR business partners
- Own compensation products from end to end utilizing broad-based and sales incentive expertise
- Lead the business through market calibration, annual reviews, promotion cycles, and pay equity evaluations
- Develop dynamic compensation models, dashboards, and automated tools
- Analyze data and leverage AI capabilities to formulate data-driven solutions and scale operations
- Adapt compensation policies and structures to address changing market trends while ensuring compliance
- Design and present management training on compensation fundamentals
- Document core methodologies and policies in the compensation repository
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, ideally supporting technical and Go-to-Market organizations
- Experience with equity compensation and sales incentive structures at a publicly traded company
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and strong background in compensation analytics
- Experience working with a Human Resources Information System such as Workday
- Familiarity with market pricing, survey participation, and data access from providers
- Knowledge of sales compensation plans, on-target earnings, and pay mix
- Understanding of HR strategy and products related to talent attraction, retention, and engagement
Qualifications
- Master degree in business, human resources and organization development, or related fields
- Prior experience in sales compensation design or administration
- Experience with tools like PAVE or Compa
