The organization is currently hiring a Compliance Lead, Testing to work remotely on a full-time basis. This professional will operate within the second line of defense on the Compliance team, helping to administer the Compliance Testing Program and ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
The person in this role will independently and cross-functionally execute compliance reviews, perform risk assessments, manage control inventories, and partner with departments such as Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations. Responsibilities include investigating regulatory compliance gaps, documenting findings, and collaborating with leadership on remediation and internal control enhancements.
This position suits an analytical professional with a background in audit or compliance testing who thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing compliance testing and reporting regarding federal and state regulatory standards
- Partner with departments including Legal, Risk, Product, and Operations during compliance reviews
- Collaborate with management to propose and refine processes that strengthen internal controls
- Coordinate compliance risk assessments and document control inventory results
- Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance affecting revised and new services
- Continuously improve internal procedures related to the Compliance Testing Program
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in audit or compliance testing
- Understanding of applicable financial services laws, regulations, and regulatory trends
- Demonstrated experience executing end-to-end compliance testing activities
- Proficiency in computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and Google docs
