Zimpost Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time Computer Hardware Specialist to work on-site in Harare. In this position, the selected professional will report directly to the ICT Infrastructure Manager and take charge of physical IT assets to ensure seamless organizational operations.
This role is well-suited for a technical professional with a background in enterprise computer hardware who enjoys hands-on system maintenance, troubleshooting, and asset management. The core purpose of the position is to keep physical infrastructure running efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and organizational policies.
Key daily duties involve setting up and repairing workstations, servers, and peripherals, tracking equipment inventory through regular audits, and guiding internal users on proper device care. Qualified candidates will handle everything from initial equipment assembly and system testing to routine hardware upgrades and comprehensive documentation of all technical interventions.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and peripherals

- Perform hardware audits and maintain accurate asset inventories

Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience working with enterprise computer hardware
- Proficiency in computer hardware configuration and maintenance
- Capability in computer repair, component replacement, testing, and system restoration
- Competence in technical support, user assistance, issue documentation, and customer service
- Troubleshooting abilities encompassing diagnostics, problem analysis, and resolution
- Familiarity with operating systems and fundamental networking concepts
Qualifications
