This full-time on-site conformance role at SGS in the Philippines supports certificate of conformity issuance for textile and other products. The analyst assesses product and exporter risk, identifies essential requirements and applicable standards, and gives technical opinions on product classification. Responsibilities
- Issue certificates of conformity on time and in line with productivity and quality targets.
- Assess product and exporter risk levels and identify essential requirements and applicable standards.
- Give technical opinions on product standards and classification.
- Help resolve standards, classification and certification cases raised by the network.
Requirements
- A university degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Knowledge of product design, manufacturing, testing or product specification.
- Understanding of conformity assessment, including accreditation, product certification and inspection protocols.
Qualifications
- Background in toys, medical devices, paper, packaging or textiles is preferred.
- Knowledge of standards bodies such as ISO, IEC, EN, ANSI and ASTM.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.
