About This Role

Deloitte in Accra, Ghana is hiring a Consultant for Legal Advisory within its regulatory team. The role advises businesses and individuals on commercial and employment law, corporate transactions and compliance, and supports company secretarial work and legal due diligence. It is an on-site, full-time position for a lawyer admitted to the Ghana Bar with at least three years of advisory experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on commercial agreements, business transactions and corporate restructuring
• Give legal advice on complex commercial and employment law issues
• Provide company secretarial support and legal due diligence on potential clients and partners
• Help build client relationships and contribute to business development for corporate legal services

Requirements

• Degree with at least second class upper in law, business, management, economics, accounting or a related discipline
• Admission to the Ghana Bar, through the Qualifying Certificate in Law or its equivalent
• At least three years of relevant experience in a similar consulting or advisory role
• Experience in legal advisory, legal M&A services and company law

Qualifications

• An LLM or other master's degree
• Strong research, analytical, writing and presentation skills
