The company is hiring a Content Designer II to report to the Director of Content & Globalization. This position is eligible for remote work within Costa Rica, and applicants must reside in the country.
In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional groups to make sure user experience content delivers high value and supports business goals. Responsibilities include shaping how users interact with artificial intelligence features, ensuring technology feels intuitive and ethical, and designing conversational interfaces and prompt-based interactions. The ideal professional brings software development industry experience and a passion for human-centered design.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering to design conversational interfaces, prompt-based interactions, and AI-generated outputs
- Co-create product content alongside design and product management teams based on user needs and business objectives
- Apply and evolve content strategies, guidelines, and processes by creating content audits, research-driven frameworks, and user personas
- Design clear navigation and content hierarchies to help users manage complex data and workflows efficiently
- Educate cross-functional partners on content design best practices and the ethical implications of artificial intelligence communication
- Stay current on emerging trends in user experience, human-centered design, and generative artificial intelligence
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Content Strategy, Content Design, or UX Writing within a software development organization
- Experience or deep demonstrated interest in designing for AI/ML features, including prompt engineering and model personality
- Expertise in Figma and experience working within a robust design system
- Must reside in Costa Rica with eligibility for remote work from the location
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ability to create content that scales globally and translates well across different languages and cultures
- Track record of using research to inform content decisions
