Canva is hiring a Country Manager for Argentina to lead overall user and revenue growth in the region. This is a fully remote position that acts as the primary leadership point of contact within the country, bringing together global and local teams across finance, product, sales, content, and marketing. The person in this role will build and execute a multi-year growth strategy, manage KPIs such as Monthly Active Users and Annual Recurring Revenue, localise product and pricing offerings, and allocate marketing budgets alongside regional leads. The Country Manager also serves as the public figurehead for Canva in Argentina across the press, community events, and public relations.
The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial, founder-style mindset and a background in growing a market for a global software-as-a-service company or startup. This position requires strong analytical abilities, product orientation, excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, and a proven leadership record in coaching high-performing teams. Responsibilities
- Serve as the main leadership point of contact responsible for overall user and revenue growth in Argentina
- Collaborate with local and global teams across marketing, sales, product, content, and finance to design and execute a multi-year growth strategy
- Own key performance indicators including Monthly Active Users and Annual Recurring Revenue
- Work with the regional team to adapt product, pricing, content, and packaging for local audiences
- Hire, inspire, coach, and manage the performance of the in-market team
- Partner with regional teams and marketing leads to shape marketing strategy and budget deployment
- Act as a local sponsor for enterprise sales, education, government, and partnerships
- Represent the organisation as a public figurehead across press, public relations, community events, and media
Requirements
- Experience growing a market, such as serving as a regional general manager, brand lead for a global software-as-a-service company, or founder and growth lead in a high-growth startup
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in growing, inspiring, and coaching high-performing teams
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong analytical focus on key performance indicators and driving insights from disparate datasets
- Product-oriented mindset with experience translating local insights into product requirements
- Alignment with Canva mission, values, and culture
- Publicity savvy with public speaking experience and a local network including government departments, corporate contacts, influencers, or journalists
