Job Description
NTT DATA is seeking a Data & Analytics Sr. Managing Consultant for a remote role based in Texas, United States. The post is for a senior data migration engineer with Oracle DBA experience. The consultant carries technical delivery from design through development, testing, release and live support, and works alongside builders, testers, database administrators and client contacts.
The work blends data engineering with practical Oracle database administration. Core tasks include building dbt workflows that run in development, QA and production, designing reusable Oracle PL/SQL packages together with the schema objects around them such as synonyms, links, permissions and scheduled tasks, and creating Airflow DAGs that handle scheduling, rollout and monitoring across Airflow and Control-M. The consultant also manages Git branching, merges and CI/CD releases, and traces workflow, database and application failures to their root causes.
Performance work includes reviewing Oracle wait events, session and lock activity and SQL tuning, along with baselining database users and preparing environments for testing and release. The consultant mentors developers, onshore and offshore, runs peer code reviews, and keeps runbooks, automation scripts and handover documentation current.
The starting pay range is $134,000 to $180,000, based on a candidate background, hands-on skills and other qualifications, and incentive pay could also apply. The posting notes that remote arrangements can change with client requirements, and that employees near an office or client site may need to attend in person.
