In this position, the professional collaborates closely with engineering groups to make technical systems more transparent, measurable, and actionable. Core duties span site reliability, shopping infrastructure, application performance, governance, and metrics quality. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and enhance infrastructure health, quality, and efficiency
- Develop and update metrics, dashboards, and analytical frameworks for complex technical systems
- Improve data foundations by refining metric definitions and auditing data quality
- Conduct experiments, investigations, and deep dives to measure the effects of infrastructure modifications
- Convert vague technical problems into clear analyses and actionable recommendations
- Support priority investigations regarding infrastructure cost, reliability, performance, and measurement quality
- Identify optimization opportunities across site reliability, performance, governance, and shopping infrastructure
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong SQL and analytical programming capabilities
- Work effectively with messy and imperfect data to build reliable metrics and datasets
- Contribute to production-ready data pipelines, measurement systems, or foundational data tasks
- Design analyses, interpret results rigorously, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Translate ambiguous challenges into clear analytical workstreams and recommendations
- Communicate technical findings clearly to engineering, product, and platform stakeholders
- Operate independently while prioritizing between long-term projects and inbound requests
Qualifications
- Hold a Master degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Biostatistics, or possess equivalent practical experience
