Job Description
This full-time on-site role at SGS in Manila processes and validates chemical laboratory data for samples such as textiles, plastics, food, cosmetics and water. The Data Validator II checks calculations, performs peer review and trains Data Validator I team members. The role requires a strong commitment to ISO 17025 and SGS quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Process lab data, perform calculations and integrations, and carry out peer review and quality control checks.
- Validate and report lab results to quality and ethical standards.
- Train and give feedback to Data Validator I team members.
- Keep the affiliate manager and GBS supervisor informed of operational issues quickly.
Requirements
- At least three years of working experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry, LC-MS and or GC-MS.
- Lab testing experience with at least two or three matrices.
- Knowledge of MassHunter, MultiQuant or Analyst software platforms.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in analytical chemistry is strongly preferred. A BSc is accepted with at least three years of experience.
- Strong Excel skills and written and verbal communication skills.
- Python, data science and SAP experience are advantages.
