Figma is seeking a Designer Advocate, Partnerships to work alongside Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. This position requires working out of the Austin location on site. The ideal candidate will possess robust product intuition, extensive design expertise, and a passion for the design community to support go-to-market initiatives.
The person in this role will act as an internal voice for users, helping shape product growth. Core responsibilities include developing enablement and certification programs for service distribution partners, cultivating strategic partnerships, producing multimedia content illustrating modern workflows, and representing the organization at industry events.
Figma provides a collaborative environment designed to help teams iterate, prototype, brainstorm, and bring ideas together in real time. Responsibilities
- Build and deliver scalable enablement and certification programs for service distribution partners
- Establish trusted connections with strategic technology, distribution, and service partners to drive shared success
- Create written, video, and visual content demonstrating modern product workflows and ecosystem integrations
- Speak on behalf of the company at workshops, partner events, conferences, and customer engagements
- Collect feedback and insights regarding workflows, trends, and integrations from users and partners
Requirements
- Demonstrate deep, hands-on experience using Figma within product teams from exploration to completion
- Showcase a strong grasp of contemporary design workflows, design systems, design tokens, and AI-assisted prototyping
- Communicate complex design systems clearly through presentations for audiences of different sizes
- Translate technical design decisions into practical development outcomes for design-engineering collaboration
- Champion the design community through relationship building and travel up to 25 percent of the time
