The person in this role will focus on building and maintaining delivery pipelines for Java and Spring Boot microservices while collaborating with international teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to manage the lifecycle of web applications
- Support and manage runtime environments for Java and Spring Boot microservices in virtualized or containerized setups
- Track application health and performance utilizing Grafana, Prometheus, and alternative observability solutions
- Investigate and resolve deployment or runtime problems spanning production, staging, and development environments
- Coordinate alongside development groups to address integration requirements and maintain documentation
- Engage actively in collaboration with international teams and stakeholders
Requirements
- Around 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps capacity
- Hands-on background with deployment, configuration, automation, and CI/CD tools including GitLab, Jenkins, and GitHub
- Practical experience deploying and configuring Java and Spring Boot web applications within pipelines
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Working knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus
- Strong understanding of Linux and proficiency in Unix Shell scripting
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Italian
- Ability to relocate to Canton Ticino or Italian border towns
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
