Job Description

This full-time, on-site Director, Marketing Analytics role leads a multidisciplinary analytics group made up of data engineers, analytics engineers, dashboard builders, and data scientists. The role bridges marketing planning, RevOps, and data engineering, and works closely with Sales, Finance, the PLG team, and enterprise data groups.

The director would build a marketing intelligence system with three goals: allocate budget more effectively using ROI and incrementality methods, identify predictive buyer and expansion signals, and establish a clean, governed, and openly documented single source of truth. The posting emphasizes open, explainable attribution models that support organization-wide decisions across the customer lifecycle.

Day-to-day work includes operating multi-touch attribution and ROI frameworks, mapping customer journeys with marketing operations, standardizing data definitions and semantic models in dbt and BigQuery, and building executive-ready Tableau dashboards. The role also sets intake processes that protect the team's capacity for high-impact work. The posting asks for more than ten years of leadership managing analytics teams and a working grasp of SaaS unit economics. The job also requires explaining complicated quantitative models in plain business terms for senior leaders. Strong storytelling with data is an explicit expectation.

Responsibilities

  • Put multi-touch attribution and ROI frameworks into operation to guide global budget allocation
  • Build customer journey models with marketing operations and keep in place the signals that flag likely buyers and expansion
  • Set common naming, metric definitions, and data models across the marketing stack
  • Work with Sales, RevOps, Finance, and the PLG team to agree shared metrics and produce dashboards ready for executives
  • Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary analytics team and set clear intake triage processes
  • Turn complex quantitative models into clear recommendations for executive leadership

Requirements

  • Over ten years leading mixed analytics teams that include data engineers, analytics engineers, scientists, and BI staff
  • Deep experience in marketing measurement, attribution models, incrementality testing, and journey mapping
  • Working knowledge of SaaS unit economics, including CAC, LTV, NRR, and payback
  • Track record building information structures, metric glossaries, and governance rules
  • Hands-on comfort with SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Tableau, Salesforce, and Marketo
  • A bachelor's in a quantitative or business discipline (for example, Statistics or Economics), or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

  • Experience putting predictive models, such as lead scoring, propensity, or churn risk, into Salesforce for seller use
  • Experience measuring revenue from partner-sourced or partner-influenced deals and hyperscaler marketplaces
  • Hands-on work with revenue data from PLG motions and usage-based SaaS products
