Clariti is seeking a remote Director of Engagement Managers to act as the most senior client-facing delivery leader within the Professional Services organization. In this full-time role, the incumbent will not manage personnel directly, but will instead shape delivery frameworks, advise executive clients such as mayors and CIOs, and mentor rising talent. Clariti empowers government entities to provide exceptional citizen experiences through its specialized software platforms.
This position suits an experienced delivery expert who excels at navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, forecasting trends, and resolving high-visibility project risks. The professional in this role will coordinate across cross-functional teams including implementation consultants, delivery architects, technical account managers, product, and engineering. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end delivery for complex implementations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and acting as the voice of the customer to influence product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete delivery lifecycle for Clariti's most complex and visible accounts, overseeing project governance, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, including department heads, agency directors, mayors, and chief information officers.
- Head recurring executive steering committees to connect project progression directly to municipal outcomes.
- Anticipate project risks and crises proactively, building contingency plans and handling scope changes autonomously.
- Refine repeatable delivery frameworks, retrospectives, and customer feedback loops to improve professional services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and executive leadership to channel customer insights into product strategies.
- Mentor and coach delivery talent such as engagement managers and lead implementation consultants.
- Provide regular performance and risk updates to the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Implementation.
Requirements
- 12 or more years of experience leading enterprise-level or government transformation initiatives within SaaS, professional services, or civic tech environments.
- Demonstrated track record of managing highly complex, multi-stakeholder programs from start to finish, including recovery scenarios for troubled projects.
- Prior history as a recognized thought leader in delivery methodology, client engagement, or public sector implementations.
- Expertise in financial management of client engagements, including budget forecasting, margin analysis, and variance reporting.
- Ability to travel within the United States and Canada approximately 30 to 40 percent of the time.
- Successful completion of comprehensive background checks.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce-based platforms, GovTech, or civic technology ecosystems.
- Experience working with permitting, licensing, or government service delivery workflows.
- Background managing System Integrator partner relationships on joint delivery programs.
- Familiarity with organizational change management frameworks like Prosci or ADKAR.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in applying AI tools to improve implementation workflows and documentation.
