Job Description

Kaseya makes software for managing IT and cybersecurity, with AI-powered features, for managed service providers and internal IT teams. Backed by Insight Partners, the company reports customers in more than twenty countries and roughly 15 million managed endpoints. This Director of Global Events role leads the program management function for Kaseya's global event portfolio, covering major conferences, regional gatherings, executive programs, customer and partner initiatives and sales kickoffs.

The director is responsible for planning, governing, resourcing and measuring the portfolio, and for turning the event strategy into a predictable operating model across regions and event types. Responsibilities include building the annual and multi-year plan, running business reviews and advising where to put money, grow, merge or sunset programs. The role sets up the structure, stage checkpoints and sign-off authority used company-wide, creates playbooks and standards, and sets a planning cadence with progress updates, risk sessions and leadership check-ins. The director also oversees the budget, multi-currency forecasting and vendor negotiations, manages the events technology roadmap and its links to CRM and marketing automation systems, and reports portfolio metrics such as budget adherence, satisfaction among attendees, pipeline contribution and event return on investment. The role leads a worldwide group of event program managers and works closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance and Legal.

The posting asks for at least ten years in running events, event operations or program management, including five years leading teams, and a track record of running a worldwide set of big events. Applicants also need experience building a program management office or governance model, plus five years of managing budgets in the millions, forecasting across currencies, negotiating contracts and partnering with vendors. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with experience in technology or high-growth organizations. No salary is stated.

Responsibilities

  • Convert the worldwide event strategy into a joined-up yearly and multi-year portfolio blueprint
  • Own the worldwide events schedule, weighing company goals, regional requirements, spend and staff capacity
  • Run the intake of new event requests, review business cases and rank them against pipeline, retention and brand goals
  • Set up common playbooks, templates, timeline formats, responsibility matrices and run-of-show norms
  • Run high-complexity launches such as the main annual conference and global sales kickoff events, coordinating many workstreams
  • Own the combined budget, forecasts across several currencies and variance reports
  • Lead global sourcing and vendor negotiations, and set vendor performance standards
  • Own the events technology roadmap and its links to CRM and marketing automation
  • Build, coach and direct a worldwide group of event program managers

Requirements

  • Ten-plus years in running event programs, event operations or a comparable program role, with five-plus years leading groups
  • Ten-plus years running a worldwide slate of large conferences, partner gatherings, leadership events, sales launches and trade shows
  • Ten or more years building a PMO or setting up program governance and scalable operating models
  • Five or more years of managing budgets in the millions, forecasting across currencies, negotiating contracts and partnering with vendors

Qualifications

  • Degree preferred in business, marketing, communications, events or adjacent fields
  • Background in technology, cybersecurity, IT services or fast-growing organizations
  • Strong command of project and portfolio tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com and Jira, plus Cvent, Salesforce, Marketo or HubSpot
  • Familiarity with cross-border event operations, risk control and regulatory compliance
  • Poise with senior leaders and skill at influencing people who do not report to you
  • Experience leading distributed teams
