Job Description
Proof runs a nationwide service-of-process platform used by thousands of U.S. law firms. Its system handles document intake, compliance and real-time job matching, and plugs into popular legal software. The company moves more than 60,000 documents a month through roughly 2,000 independent process servers. This full-time, remote Dispatch Specialist I role sits on the dispatch team and reports to the Dispatch Manager. It is an entry-level post with a defined path toward Specialist II and Senior levels.
The specialist works the front line of the marketplace, making sure each service-of-process request in an assigned territory is dispatched by pairing it with a suitable process server. Specialists learn the licensing and coverage rules for their regions, keep their queue moving, meet service-level goals, and make decisions that serve both clients and servers. Servers are contractors who pick their own assignments, so the work depends on respectful rapport, noting what each one prefers, and reaching fair compromises. Other duties include phone and email negotiation with clients, setting prices, keeping detailed notes, reviewing dashboards to sharpen performance, and helping teammates.
Applicants should have one to three years in a field like dispatch, logistics, operations or customer support, and communicate clearly in writing and speech. The person should place outbound calls daily, stay composed under pressure, and be organized and comfortable with data. Comfort with macOS and Google's apps is needed, and learning new tools quickly is part of the job. A bachelor's degree and gig-economy or marketplace experience are preferred. Anticipated pay runs $41,600 to $47,840, paid hourly with overtime eligibility. Perks include a bonus plan, health coverage options, disability and 401(k) choices, flexible time off, paid holidays and equipment.
