Figma seeks a Product Partner Manager to join its Business Development & Partnerships team. The company builds a collaborative design platform that helps teams handle brainstorming, prototyping, translating designs into code, and AI-driven iteration.

In this role, the selected professional will focus on artificial intelligence initiatives, forging relationships with AI model and technology providers, coordinating integrations, and establishing go-to-market programs. The position requires collaborating closely with product, engineering, AI research, legal, finance, and marketing departments.

This opportunity is well-suited for someone experienced in managing technology partnerships who thrives in environments blending artificial intelligence, product strategy, and business development. The role is offered as a full-time position located in Austin, or optionally available across other United States hubs or remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute partnership strategies concerning emerging AI model providers and other strategic technology partners
  • Monitor the artificial intelligence landscape to evaluate potential new models and capabilities that align with company goals
  • Partner with engineering, product, and AI research units to review roadmap priorities and facilitate technical evaluations
  • Review incoming partnership proposals from external providers and strategic customers to brief leadership stakeholders
  • Negotiate partnership terms and structure agreements alongside legal and strategic finance teams
  • Oversee ongoing partner health, track success metrics, and mitigate potential project risks
  • Coordinate with technical teams to scope extensibility and integration features involving APIs and MCP
  • Facilitate executive briefings and strategic partner meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional background in technology partnerships, product partnerships, business development, or ecosystem management
  • Demonstrated history of driving complex deals from strategy formulation through final execution
  • Background working alongside cross-functional groups including product, engineering, legal, and finance on technical concepts such as APIs and AI integrations
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive presentation capabilities
  • Analytical and prioritization skills suited for a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to the artificial intelligence model landscape
  • Direct experience managing relationships with frontier AI companies or open-weight model ecosystems
  • Background in coordinating early access schemes or technical product evaluations with AI suppliers
