Job Description
This one-year fixed-term role in Kinshasa, DRC runs monitoring, evaluation and learning for One Acre Fund's DRC program. The senior associate designs studies and theories of change, analyses survey data using Stata or R, and guides a departmental team to turn evidence into decisions.
Duties include setting departmental goals and key results, producing final reports with recommendations, and tracking project and budget progress. It suits an experienced evaluation professional who can work independently on complex analysis and advise on study design.
Responsibilities
- Design study plans, sampling approaches, questionnaires and analysis plans
- Clean and analyse survey data, including regressions and advanced methods such as PSM and PCA
- Set departmental objectives and lead strategy meetings for the MEL function
- Produce survey reports with recommendations and track project dashboards and budgets
Requirements
- Ability to produce written deliverables that need little or no revision
- Advanced inferential statistics in Excel, Stata and/or R
- Experience setting goals and reviewing performance for a team
Qualifications
- Able to program surveys in CommCare or oversee others who do
- Upper-intermediate French and English
