This full-time on-site EHS role at SGS in Manila supports environmental sampling across air, water and wastewater, soil and sediments. The specialist assists senior staff in the field, prepares sampling reagents and solutions, and keeps records and quality control charts up to date. The job also requires strong safety practice and compliance with SGS QHSEE policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist with air, water, wastewater, soil and sediment sampling in line with the sampling matrix.
- Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions for sampling.
- Prepare and update reports on sampling and analysis, including quality control charts.
- Operate and maintain sampling and analysis equipment and report damaged or lost items.
Requirements
- A graduate of any engineering course, or a technical course with two years of relevant experience.
- A professional driving license.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
Qualifications
- Computer literacy for report preparation.
- Active participation in incident investigations and risk assessments as required.
- Commitment to SGS environmental and safety procedures.
