This on-site Manila role at Sutherland supports email operations and Trust and Safety work in a 24x7 environment. The analyst investigates spam, phishing and spoofing, reviews logs in Splunk, carries out mitigation actions under SOPs, validates SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and documents incidents for escalation.
Responsibilities
- Investigate inbound and outbound email for spam, phishing and abuse
- Analyze logs in Splunk to identify anomalies and threats
- Execute blocking, quarantine and escalation under defined SOPs
- Validate SPF, DKIM and DMARC and flag discrepancies
Requirements
- At least 2 years in email operations, Trust and Safety or SOC work
- Working knowledge of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and email delivery
- Hands-on Splunk log analysis experience
Qualifications
- Experience with O365 Defender or Proofpoint
- Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to work onsite in Taguig
