Bosch is hiring an EMT3_VM_Python_Gen_AI_Developer to spearhead the creation and building of enterprise-level applications. This full-time position suits an experienced programmer ready to take on a leadership role and guide engineering personnel. In this capacity, the individual will write efficient Python scripts, refine legacy code for better speed and memory usage, and act as a subject matter expert for tool development initiatives. The position involves collaborating with multi-functional teams spread across various geographic locations, communicating project updates and obstacles to stakeholders, and autonomously managing assigned duties.
Candidates will work within a collaborative, technically enriching setting focused on cutting-edge innovations, quality, and sustainable expansion. The employer expects the professional to handle customer and stakeholder relations independently while operating in an Agile Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient Python scripts
- Optimize existing source code to improve speed and memory performance
- Mentor and groom a team of Python developers
- Contribute to Python-based tool development and maintenance as a subject matter expert
- Manage tasks and independently handle customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
- Communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders effectively
Requirements
- Extensive programming experience and strong understanding of Python
- Experience utilizing advanced features of Python
- Good knowledge of Generative AI concepts
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable features using industry patterns and best practices
- Experience using version control tools such as GIT and Bitbucket
- Experience working with Scrum in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on growth
Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of relevant programming experience in Python
- Good experience in data structures, algorithms, and STL
- Good experience in multithreading and concurrent programming
- Good experience managing the complete software development lifecycle from design to release
- 2 to 5 years of extensive programming experience and understanding of Gen AI concepts
- Experience with MATLAB as an added advantage
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- BE or MTech degree
