Under the hood, the technology stack incorporates Go, React, and artificial intelligence.
This position requires leading a squad to build user-facing product features or maintain the reliability, observability, and scalability of distributed systems. The ideal candidate takes strong ownership, drives initiatives through ambiguity, balances strategic planning with technical execution, and integrates artificial intelligence into team workflows. Leaders will manage direct reports, guide projects end to end, establish rapid delivery cadences, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Customer.io offers a transparent compensation package featuring a base salary ranging from USD 185,000 to 215,000 per year, alongside stock options. Responsibilities
- Lead a squad to deliver customer value through end-to-end project ownership
- Establish delivery milestones and ship increments amidst competing priorities
- Participate in design reviews, architecture calls, and incident resolution
- Coach direct reports and coordinate professional development opportunities
- Contribute to an on-call rotation to maintain system reliability
- Hire, onboard, and oversee the performance of team members
