Job Description
This is a full-time, remote Engineering Manager role on the AppArmor team. AppArmor is the security module that guards every Ubuntu user through mandatory access control, which confines programs and restricts their access to system resources. The manager leads and develops engineers spanning graduate to senior grades, coaching and mentoring them and offering career development feedback. The role includes tracking team health indicators, putting disciplined engineering processes in place, and steering delivery against agreed objectives and projects. The manager represents the team and its product with stakeholders, partners and customers, and coordinates efforts across several engineering teams and projects.
