Job Description

Material Bank runs a marketplace for materials used in architecture and design, with operations in 37 countries. Designers use it to browse, order samples and specify products from a wide range of manufacturers. This Enterprise Account Manager role is responsible for a group of the marketplace's largest Brand Partners, the manufacturers that sell through the platform.

The post is advisory at its core. The account manager becomes familiar with each partner's commercial goals and priorities and then works to make the partnership pay off. That means drafting multi-year account plans, running quarterly reviews, and translating platform results into recommendations that partners can act on.

The manager also owns renewals and growth. Each renewal is steered from early planning to signature, with the value delivered made visible and objections addressed. Where a further step would serve a partner's objectives, the manager spots the opportunity and ties it to that partner's business needs.

Success depends on working with senior executives, reading performance numbers with confidence, and coordinating several internal teams. Frequent travel for in-person meetings and industry networking is part of the job. The posting does not state a salary or describe benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall success of assigned Brand Partners by understanding their priorities and long-term aims.
  • Build a data-driven plan for each partner that names priorities, opportunities and specific actions.
  • Spot expansion options that link directly to each partner's objectives.
  • Lead each renewal from planning through signature, addressing concerns along the way.
  • Develop relationships across partner organizations, including top leadership.
  • Run strategic reviews with partner executives using performance data and industry context.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of progressively senior account management in design, product manufacturing or related A&D industries.
  • Direct accountability for renewals and expansion.
  • Experience carrying an enterprise book of business worth millions.
  • Comfort with data sets, spotting trends and drawing useful conclusions from them.
  • Strong presence and communication with senior audiences.
  • Sound judgment about what deserves attention, and willingness to own the trade-offs.
  • Ability to travel for in-person account visits and networking.

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Flexible PTO, sick days and paid national holidays.
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage, plus short-term and long-term disability plans.
  • Employee assistance program.
  • 401(k) eligibility after the first 90 days of employment.
  • Growth opportunities and company-sponsored community events.
