Swiggy is hiring an Executive for video editing in Mumbai, working with Servd, the food media house Swiggy partnered with in 2024. Servd, previously called Mumbai Foodie, makes original food content such as restaurant reviews, chef interviews, brand collaborations and events, and it now has a presence in Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune.
The full-time, on-site editor cuts raw footage into finished sequences that meet creative briefs. The work requires software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and an ongoing effort to sharpen editing and data handling through feedback. Footage, graphics and audio must be organized into a systematic asset structure so teammates can find and reuse material.
The editor works with the creative team, graphic designers and animators to produce a unified final product and helps projects hold their timelines. Candidates need a solid grounding in video production, a careful eye for detail and a clear understanding of Instagram and YouTube as channels.
Responsibilities
- Edit video content to a high creative standard using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Build edited sequences from raw footage to match each project brief.
- Organize media assets such as footage, graphics and audio into a consistent structure.
- Apply data management routines that speed up workflows and teamwork.
- Work with creative staff, graphic designers and animators on a unified final product.
- Help keep projects on schedule and meet deliverable deadlines.
- Ask for feedback and adjust to shifting project requirements.
