Bosch seeks an Expert Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer_ECT1 to take on a senior role focusing on architectural design, control logic development, and model-based testing. Bosch operates globally in engineering and technology sectors, and this role requires translating high-level requirements into structured Simulink models, automating tasks with MATLAB scripts, and driving verification and validation efforts.
The person in this position will lead Model-Based Testing initiatives, manage architectural decisions, and represent the technical progress of the team in international forums. Responsibilities
- Translate high-level requirements into structured Simulink models following MAAB guidelines
- Design and implement control logic utilizing Stateflow and Simulink
- Create custom MATLAB M-scripts and tools to automate modeling tasks, data analysis, and report generation
- Lead Model-Based Testing efforts, build test sequences, and achieve complete MC/DC coverage
- Represent the team as a technical subject matter expert in international forums to present architectural decisions
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and testing teams to guarantee smooth model integration and deployment
- Engage actively in peer reviews, mentor junior developers, and share knowledge across teams
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of experience
- Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Simulink Test Manager and Simulink Coverage
- Working knowledge of M-scripting and MATLAB Object-Oriented Programming
- Ability to articulate technical solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working alongside international teams
Qualifications
- BE or B.Tech degree
- M.E or M.Tech degree with an electronics background
- Familiarity with thermodynamics including HVAC and physical system modeling
- Experience with Embedded C, Python, and micro-controller hardware architectures
