Pinterest maintains a flexible work model called PinFlex, allowing employees to operate remotely within the United States. Although the position does not require relocation, the person selected must travel to an office location for in-person collaboration once or twice every six months. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and technical program management teams to build weekly, monthly, and yearly operational budgets and demand forecasts
- Prepare quarterly, monthly, and annual variance analyses
- Develop and execute initiatives to automate and enhance operating expense and infrastructure forecasting tools and processes
- Integrate artificial intelligence tools into financial decision-making, metrics analysis, and forecasting workflows
- Build usage prediction models for short- and long-term resource capacity requirements
- Identify risks and opportunities proactively
- Conduct strategic and time-sensitive analyses while communicating key findings
Requirements
- Experience forecasting expenses, preferably managing technology infrastructure spending on public cloud platforms and product offerings
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools to accelerate financial forecasting and analysis workflows while validating outputs
- Experience managing multiple end-to-end workstreams across cross-functional teams
- Expertise in developing both high-level and detailed financial models
- Strong verbal, written, and business partnership communication abilities
- Capacity to multitask and meet strict deadlines

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline such as Finance or Accounting
