Grafana Labs is currently seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to join their team in the United States. In this individual contributor position, the chosen candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the NetSuite ERP system and related finance applications, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance Systems. Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana Cloud, a managed observability platform utilized by over 10,000 organizations, and operates as a fully remote enterprise with team members spread across more than 40 countries. This role requires close collaboration with the IT, Sales Operations, Legal, Engineering, and Finance teams to drive process improvements, execute finance transformation projects, and uphold IT general controls.
The ideal candidate will act as a thought leader in finance systems, championing automation, optimal IT functional practices, and SOX compliance. Responsibilities encompass system administration, program management for order-to-cash cycles, and the creation of custom financial dashboards. This position suits professionals with substantial NetSuite administration experience who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, innovation-driven environment. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, configuration, customization, upgrades, and maintenance of NetSuite and other finance business systems
- Oversee user access management, segregation of duties reviews, and compliance with change management, ITGC, and SDLC processes
- Develop and maintain custom workflows, fields, scripts, and integrations between NetSuite and other platforms
- Lead finance transformation projects focusing on the order-to-cash cycle, spanning lead tracking, contracting, CPQ, billing, and revenue recognition
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Engineering, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Create high-performing financial dashboards, reports, and visual metrics utilizing native NetSuite tools and Grafana platforms
Requirements
- Six or more years of progressive experience working as a Finance System Administrator with NetSuite and associated tools such as Zip, Avalara, or Expensify
- Hands-on IT support experience resolving functional and technical issues
- Demonstrated background in data migration, data mapping, and integrations within NetSuite, including Advanced Revenue Management and Salesforce
- Administrator-level knowledge of privileged access, multi-chart of accounts, custom objects, approval chains, and tax configurations
- Familiarity with ITGC standards and operational experience within SOC, ISO, and SOX compliant environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience utilizing project management tools such as GitHub, Monday.com, and Miro
- Familiarity with CPQ systems and NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management and Zone billing modules
