The organization is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team on a remote basis.
This position focuses on financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate acts as a strategic financial partner to various departments, transforming complex data into clear insights while utilizing modern productivity tools like ChatGPT alongside advanced spreadsheets to automate workflows. Responsibilities

- Conduct variance analysis to compare budget targets with actual results and identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities
- Construct dynamic scenario models to evaluate the financial outcomes of different business strategies
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet applications and ChatGPT to streamline and automate complex reporting tasks
- Partner with cross-functional business units to understand financial needs and provide actionable insights
- Draft concise financial commentary regarding forecasts, trends, and variances for stakeholders
- Apply accounting knowledge to maintain financial reporting integrity and support closing procedures
Requirements
- At least three years of financial analysis experience
- Background in a tech, robotics, or fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for building and handling complex financial models
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with emerging productivity tools such as workflow automation, scripting, and ChatGPT
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Qualifications
- Prior experience with financial forecasting and scenario modeling tools
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP
- Experience implementing FP&A planning software such as Pigment, Planful, Anaplan, or Adaptive
