Fandom is seeking an FP&A Manager to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team as a senior individual contributor reporting to the Director FP&A. Operating in a remote capacity, this role connects complex data systems with executive-level strategy. The person in this position will serve as a power administrator for financial planning software, take ownership of a Business Unit P&L, and drive cross-functional collaboration. Fandom is the world's largest fan platform for entertainment and gaming, reaching over 350 million unique visitors monthly and hosting more than 250,000 wikis. The company also operates the online video game retailer Fanatical and produces editorial coverage and branded content through Fandom Productions across properties like Gamespot, TV Guide, and Metacritic.
This role suits an analytical professional with experience building strategic financial models, implementing planning systems, and creating C-suite reporting materials. The position involves collaborating with partners in the United Kingdom and Poland within a global company environment.
Responsibilities
- Support company-wide financial planning processes including long-term strategy, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance reconciliation
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and business partners as a primary finance point of contact
- Drive business unit and functional level financial forecasts to predict performance and manage toward desired outcomes
- Contribute to the evolution of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting to increase operating leverage
- Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and investment analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance and operational roles
- Track record of building strategic financial models that translate operational initiatives into financial impact
- Experience implementing, administering, or optimizing FP&A planning systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Planful
- Experience building C-suite and Board-level reporting materials and translating financial data into executive narratives
- Strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and proactive risk mitigation approach
Qualifications
- Relevant certification such as CFA or CPA
- First-hand knowledge of online advertising or e-commerce
- Experience using SQL, BI, and analytics tools
- Openness and experience using AI to bring efficiencies to work
