In this position, you will turn well-defined tickets into clean, production-ready code within enterprise WordPress engagements. You will build features end-to-end, utilizing modern PHP, JavaScript, and React.js for custom Gutenberg blocks, alongside themes and plugins. Responsibilities
- Build enterprise-level WordPress solutions including custom Gutenberg blocks in React.js, plugins, and themes utilizing HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Manage tickets end-to-end by interpreting requirements, making decisions when details are incomplete, and providing reviewable pull requests
- Translate Figma designs and project specifications into responsive, polished features and reusable components within WordPress
- Integrate AI tools into daily workflows for faster implementation and debugging while critically validating all outputs
- Address and iterate upon code review feedback from senior and lead engineers
- Collaborate proactively and asynchronously in English with distributed teams across engineering, design, and delivery
Requirements
- Solid agency or consultancy background in building WordPress solutions for high-traffic, large-scale enterprise projects
- Familiarity with the web stack including HTML, CSS, modern PHP, JavaScript, and the Gutenberg ecosystem with React.js
- Experience utilizing AI tools as part of a development workflow
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for clear communication with reviewers
- Residency in Latin America with the ability to collaborate in real time with United States time zones
