This full-time on-site data validation role at SGS in the Philippines is part of the Global Business Solutions center. The validator processes and checks lab results for EHS matrix samples, runs calculations and quality checks, and makes LIMS entries. The role follows ISO 17025 and SGS lab standards and escalates operational issues.
Responsibilities
- Process lab data, perform calculations and integrations, and run quality control checks.
- Validate and report lab results to strict quality and ethical standards.
- Make LIMS entries and other data management updates.
- Escalate missed turnarounds and quality control gaps to the team right away.
Requirements
- A bachelor of science degree, with chemistry preferred, or another related science degree.
- At least one year of lab experience, including at least six months of HPLC, GC or GC-MS operating experience with formal training.
- English at B2 or C1 level and strong MS Excel skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with LIMS and Chemstation or MassHunter software is a plus.
- Experience with data review of lab results is preferred.
- Strong analytical instrument knowledge, particularly chromatography and mass spectrometry.
