This full-time on-site quality assurance role at SGS in the Philippines supports the GBS pharma laboratory. The officer reviews change control requests, acts as the site lead for training and document control, and keeps client test methods and specifications current. The position also backs up QA functions and helps coordinate audits and quality agreement approvals.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve change control requests and follow up with owners until they close.
- Act as site representative for training and document control, including periodic document reviews.
- Maintain client test methods and specification databases and coordinate quality agreement approvals.
- Coordinate internal, client and regulatory audits and prepare responses to findings.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a scientific area.
- At least three years of quality assurance experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant GMP regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of compendia such as USP is preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- English at C1 level, with strong written and verbal communication.
