Valiantys seeks a Global Head of SDLC Solution to take charge of the company's Software Development Lifecycle and Developer Experience practice. This remote position requires the candidate to be based on the East Coast time zone. The professional in this role will turn technical expertise in Atlassian platforms, DevOps, and artificial intelligence into structured, profitable, and repeatable professional services offerings.
This is a builder position tailored for a candidate who combines commercial acumen, technical depth, consulting discipline, and executive presence. The chosen individual will define the global practice strategy, manage regional practice leaders across North America, EMEA, and APAC, and guide enterprise clients through modernization roadmaps that connect people, platforms, processes, and AI agents.
Valiantys focuses on shaping solutions across CI/CD and DevOps modernization, developer flow optimization, agentic AI software development, quality engineering, governance, and enterprise Atlassian Software Collection adoption. Success in this role involves establishing Valiantys as an authority in AI-enabled software delivery transformation while building a recognizable global practice with a differentiated portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global practice strategy and business plan for SDLC and DevEx
- Build and lead a network of regional Practice Leads across North America, EMEA, and APAC
- Develop go-to-market-ready offerings, solution blueprints, intellectual property, accelerators, and delivery playbooks
- Productize regional delivery experience to drive sales velocity, margin, reuse, and delivery quality
- Lead executive-level client conversations with stakeholders such as CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and CISOs
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Managed Services to generate and close strategic business opportunities
- Conduct structured discovery and gap analysis workshops to translate business maturity gaps into modernization roadmaps
- Drive the adoption of continuous improvement, asset reuse, and global standards across regional teams
- Cultivate practitioner capabilities through mentorship, enablement, knowledge management, and certifications
Requirements
- Possess 10 to 15 years of professional experience in technology consulting, professional services, or enterprise software, with a strong focus on engineering tooling, SDLC, DevOps, or developer experience
- Demonstrate a proven track record of scaling and building a professional services practice or solution line, including delivery playbooks and IP assets
- Bring commercial drive with experience partnering across Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Managed Services to close pipeline
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with AI in software development, including agentic AI tools, AI-augmented DevOps, or AI-assisted development pipelines
- Show experience engaging executives such as CTOs and VPs of Engineering as a strategic thought leader
- Hold deep Atlassian ecosystem knowledge, including Confluence, Jira Software, Bitbucket, Compass, and adjacent tools
- Have experience operating across AMER, EMEA, and APAC with a record of driving global standards across distributed teams
- Prove the ability to lead structured discovery and gap analysis workshops that capture business needs and translate findings into modernization strategies
- Be based on the East Coast time zone
