This full-time remote project manager role based in Manila leads onsite laboratory projects for mining and minerals clients. The manager builds financial models and proposals for new and existing labs, coordinates requirements with clients and regional teams, and plans lab builds, startups and equipment purchasing. Responsibilities
- Review and model onsite laboratory opportunities and prepare or assist with technical proposals and tenders.
- Consult clients on requirements, costs and schedules, and negotiate to win opportunities.
- Schedule and track laboratory designs, builds, renovations and expansions with local teams.
- Confirm and monitor laboratory equipment purchasing against global standards and timelines.
Requirements
- A university degree in science or engineering, with a geosciences background strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry.
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Some business or personnel management experience is expected.
- Proficiency in other languages such as French, Spanish, Russian or Arabic is valuable.
- Strong English writing and speaking skills.
