Job Description
Vibes operates a mobile-first engagement platform connecting major brands with consumers through messaging and mobile wallet marketing tools. The company seeks a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join its remote team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will collect control evidence, test internal controls, manage vendor risks, and handle customer security questionnaires. You will work closely with a compact GRC and vendor management team, reporting directly to the Senior Program Manager. Because many internal processes remain under development, you will have the opportunity to actively shape compliance procedures rather than merely maintaining existing ones.
The position is well-suited for detail-oriented professionals who are comfortable requesting evidence across various departments and communicating clearly with auditors and internal partners. Ideal candidates bring prior experience in compliance or audit, familiarity with standard control frameworks, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather and organize control evidence continuously to prepare for internal and external audits
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for auditors and draft regular status reports for leadership
- Test controls to verify they function as designed and collaborate with control owners to resolve identified gaps
- Maintain the finding registry and verify the closure of issues before marking them complete
- Conduct quarterly user access reviews, sample offboarding instances, and reconcile asset inventories against billing and purchases
- Evaluate vendor risk assessments and issue recommendations before contracts are signed or renewed
- Complete customer security questionnaires and RFP compliance sections while utilizing AI drafting tools
- Administer the policy lifecycle including review schedules, version control, and attestation tracking
Requirements
- Have at least two years of professional experience in compliance, audit, governance, risk, and compliance, or a related equivalent field
- Possess working knowledge of a recognized control framework and understand how evidence maps to it
- Demonstrate experience handling customer security questionnaires and RFP security sections from start to finish
- Know how to build or maintain a questionnaire answer library
- Feel comfortable utilizing AI tools to draft compliance responses with necessary review steps
Qualifications
- Experience with control testing, such as sample selection and evaluating evidence sufficiency
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or dedicated compliance platforms
