Job Description

This opportunity is designed for individuals seeking to advance their careers within the information security sector, specifically focusing on application security. Participants will complete internal training programs and engage in hands-on technical tasks, security response scenarios, and team shadowing. Candidates must be physically located in the United States, excluding specific states, and possess foundational knowledge in IT, operating systems, networking, and security.

Responsibilities

Complete in-house training programs and partner-led vendor training
Work on collaborative projects to improve security knowledge
Participate in team and position shadowing
Engage in hands-on technical development and security response activities

Requirements

Be physically located within the United States during the entire internship, excluding Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming
Work 25 to 29 hours per week, with the majority of hours scheduled between 11 AM and 4 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday
Possess a personal computing device and high-speed internet access during working hours
Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems, and security, as reflected in the resume and application
Have exposure to at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, along with an interest in reading and analyzing code

Qualifications

Efforts toward entering cybersecurity through formal education, certifications, trainings, industry organizations, or personal and industry projects
Genuine passion for information security and motivation to learn new skills
Willingness to learn and utilize AI-enabled tools
