Job Description
Canonical is recruiting a Graduate HR Generalist to support its APAC region. The company is a technology business that publishes Ubuntu, with staff spread across many countries and few in offices. Its HR function is being built to work globally, and this post offers a chance to help shape how that function develops.

Routine checks of staff files and systems confirm that records are current, accurate and GDPR compliant. The role may also own global projects in areas such as engagement, training or culture, and it looks for ways to improve processes.
Candidates should have a strong academic record and ideally some HR or People internship experience, preferably in technology. Clear communication, honesty, the ability to handle confidential data and a readiness to take initiative are important. The posting also asks for readiness to make up to four trips a year to internal events. No salary is stated.
