Job Description
Smartsheet is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead its Corporate Systems product management function. Over more than twenty years, Smartsheet has built work-management solutions and is now integrating AI agents with human teams to automate manual tasks and surface insights at scale. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of internal technology platforms encompassing financial systems, human resources platforms, sales and entitlements, billing and monetization, enterprise systems data, and AI automation.
This position involves operating at both the strategic and tactical levels. You will manage and mentor a team of product managers, collaborate closely with engineering leadership on investment strategy, and drive complex cross-functional initiatives like ERP modernization, pricing transformations, and enterprise AI adoption. You will guide the transition of Corporate Systems from a group of isolated enterprise projects into a unified, product-led portfolio designed for long-term scalability.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced product leader with a strong technical background in enterprise platforms and business architectures. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Systems and work alongside various internal stakeholders across finance, go-to-market, security, and data teams to align technological capabilities with broader business objectives.

- Establish the product-management operating model for Corporate Systems, including discovery, problem definition, roadmapping, prioritization, and lifecycle management
- Partner with engineering leadership to align product roadmaps with technical strategy, ensuring a balance between new capabilities and platform reliability, scalability, security, and technical debt
- Lead portfolio-level prioritization across conflicting business needs and coordinate dependencies spanning multiple departments and technical teams
- Coach team members to develop deep technical fluency regarding APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise application ecosystems
- Drive major cross-domain transformations such as enterprise AI adoption, ERP modernization, billing updates, and data governance
- Communicate portfolio strategies, investment choices, progress, and risks clearly to senior leadership
Requirements
- Ten or more years of experience in product management, technical product management, business systems, or a related field
- Three or more years of experience leading, managing, or formally coaching product managers
- Demonstrated background in owning or overseeing a connected portfolio of enterprise systems, platforms, or interconnected products
- Strong product management fundamentals covering customer discovery, strategy, roadmapping, prioritization, and metrics
- Robust technical and systems fluency regarding APIs, integrations, data flows, and platform architecture
- Experience partnering with engineering leadership to shape technical strategy and evaluate tradeoffs
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms and business processes such as finance, go-to-market, human resources, billing, or automation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for senior leadership audiences
Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS business models, enterprise AI, usage-based monetization, enterprise data, or large-scale business system transformation
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
