Job Description
Secfix is a 36-person organization backed by a $12M Series A funding round from investors like Alstin Capital, Neosfer, and Bayern Capital. The company automates security compliance for European mid-market companies and SMBs, helping them achieve standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, and SOC 2 within weeks. To support this growth, Secfix is hiring its first GTM Engineer on a full-time basis to design and maintain the automated systems that power the go-to-market team.
In this hands-on engineering position, the selected individual will write Python and SQL code daily, build data pipelines, integrate APIs, and construct AI workflows instead of handling standard RevOps configuration or Jira tickets. Working directly under the Head of GTM, this role eliminates fragmented setups by establishing a reliable, centralized data layer for business development and sales teams. The position is structured for recent graduates or early-career engineers who want to own products end-to-end, build scalable systems, and directly influence business operations.
The role operates on a 100% remote schedule from India, requiring a minimum of four hours of overlap with CET (specifically between 9:00 and 13:00 CET), and relies on a virtual office in Gather for synchronous collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Model accounts, contacts, and buying committees while building automated pipelines to pull, deduplicate, score, and write back data for the CRM
- Develop signal-based outbound processes, inbound scoring and routing, and rep alerts
- Build AI tools and agents to automate research, proposals, and CRM updates for account executives
- Design a central data layer, integrate new tools via webhooks and APIs, and manage error handling, monitoring, and scheduled jobs
- Investigate problems, identify root causes, implement fixes, and document solutions independently
Requirements
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with zero to two years of experience in Computer Science or another engineering field
- Minimum of one year of experience through full-time employment or internships within a startup environment
- Solid Python programming skills alongside hands-on experience using APIs and webhooks
- Practical production code experience covering version control with Git, scheduling, error handling, rate limits, debugging, and logging
- Hands-on experience with Claude, including Claude Code or the API
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship functional tools, scrapers, automations, or data pipelines
- Fluent written and spoken English proficiency
- Ability to maintain at least a four-hour daily overlap with CET
Qualifications
- Strong academic record
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, data warehouses, cloud platforms, or GTM tools like Clay
Core Skills
